Traitement des données personnelles
What we do with your information when you use stanmaxx.com?
we collect what we need to run your page, we don’t sell it, and we don’t track you for ads.
Because Stanmaxx is built and hosted in France, in the European Union, this policy follows the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and you have a set of rights that come with that, near the end.
The promise first
Let’s say it up front, because it’s the thing people care about most: we don’t sell your personal data. We don’t sell it, rent it, or hand it to outside advertisers. There’s no external ad network running in the background, and no hidden tracking following you around the web. Your page is yours, and so is the information behind it.
To be clear we may promote pages inside Stanmaxx itself. For instance, featuring or recommending someone’s page within the Service to help people discover it. That happens entirely on our own platform and doesn’t involve selling your data or letting third-party advertisers track you. It’s a feature of the Service, not an outside ad business.
We do use your data to actually run the website to make your page work, keep your account secure, and keep the lights on. That’s a different thing from selling it and that’s the only thing we use it for.
What we collect
When you sign up, we collect what’s needed for an account like your email address and a password). When you build your page, we store the content you put on it, your links, text, chosen colours, photo, events, and so on.
Things that happen automatically. Like most websites, our servers log basic technical information when the Service is used things like IP address, browser type, and timestamps. We use this to keep the Service running, fix problems, and protect against abuse and security threats. We keep it lean and don’t use it to profile you.
Cookies and similar. We use the small number of cookies needed to make the site function for example, to keep you logged in. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we ever introduce anything beyond strictly necessary cookies, we’ll ask for your consent first.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
Under GDPR we have to tell you not just what we do but why we’re allowed to. So:
- To provide the Service: running your page, your account, and the features you use.
- To keep things secure and working: preventing fraud and abuse, fixing bugs, maintaining the infrastructure. Its our legitimate interest in a safe, functioning service.
- To feature and recommend pages within Stanmaxx surfacing public pages in discovery, featured, or recommendation areas of the Service, or notify you of new services in our platform. Its our legitimate interest in helping people find pages on our platform. This stays inside Stanmaxx and doesn’t involve outside advertisers.
- To communicate with you: trough services messages, important updates, replies when you contact us.
- To meet legal obligations: when the law requires us to keep or produce certain information.
If we ever want to use your information for something genuinely new that needs your consent, we’ll ask, and you can say no.
Who can see your information
Your public page is public that’s the point of it. Anyone with the link, or searching you can see what you’ve chosen to put there. Keep that in mind when deciding what to post.
Beyond that, we share personal data only in limited cases:
- Service providers who help us operate (for example, hosting and infrastructure). They act on our instructions, can only use the data to provide their service to us, and are bound to protect it. We work with now with providers with eu providers such as IONOS and are hosted in FRANCE
